The drum (10) has lever segments (25) with cavity areas (27, 28) for rod-shaped articles. The drum body (14) is tiltable in respective fitments (22). The lever segments have suction holes (271 to 276, 281 to 286) for the cavity areas. Each suction hole of a lever segment is outwardly provided in a radial direction between the fitment and a cavity area of the lever segment. The lever segment has two cavity areas for rod-shaped articles. Each suction hole of a lever segment is in a radial direction.
