SLAG REMOVING APPARATUS FROM MELT SURFACE

FIELD: metallurgy, namely equipment for slag removing from melt metal surface. ^ SUBSTANCE: apparatus includes working organ and vertical supporting unit. Working organ includes cylindrical shell and perforated bottom. Outer walls of bottom and shell are covered with heat insulating layer. In bottom there is axial opening through which working organ is secured to supporting unit. Bottom is in the form of detachable sectors and it is provided with row of annular ridges. Protecting aluminum washer abuts to outer side of bottom. ^ EFFECT: simplified design, enhanced operational reliability of apparatus. ^ 5 cl, 6 dwg
