The lightweight-construction profile, which is in the form of a rod and consists of metallic or non-metallic material in strip form, is constructed in its webs such that the pan bases of opposite pan-like depressions make contact over their area and are connected to one another in a force-fitting manner. The bulging sensitivity of thin-walled webs is thus reduced and the torsional resistance of the lightweight-construction profile is increased. At the same time, a wide range of connection possibilities are achieved quickly and effectively by means of positively-locking force-transfer elements.
