The process consists of (a) forming a outer band (2) in a first vulcanisation stage; (b) combining the band (2) with the shoe upper (1) in a second vulcanisation stage; and (3) forming an upper layer (3) on the sole, between the outer band (2) and the shoe upper (1), which acts as a link between the two. The two sole layers consist of vulcanisable materials with different structural characteristics and/or different colours.
