PURPOSE:To enhance the power generating efficiency by communicating a steam separator with a screw-type two-phase flow expander via a duct and ejecting resulting multi-phase flow liquid into the expansion process. CONSTITUTION:A screw-type expander 1 which is connected to a generator 6 has a gas inlet part 17, an outlet part 18 and an expansion process ejecting hole 15. The gas inlet part 17 and the ejecting hole 15 are communicated with the steam side hole and the hot water side outlet of a steam separator 3, respectively and the outlet part 18 is communicated with a condenser 9. After multi- phase flow from a geothermal ceiling is divided into steam and hot water by the steam separator 3, steam is delivered into the inlet part 17 to turn the rotor of the expander 1. Meanwhile, hot water is ejected from the ejecting hole 15 during the expansion process to accelerate the revolution of the rotor. As a result, the entire pressure energy of hot water may be utilized effectively so that the power generating efficiency may be improved greatly.
