PURPOSE:To inform of the accuracy of measured temperature with the detection of temperature, by arranging a second temperature sensor for correcting the output of a first temperature sensor, a temperature display section and a computing and results displaying means for the body separable from the first sensor. CONSTITUTION:With the pulling a member 20 out of the body 10, a thermistor 12a of a reference sensor 12 at the tip thereof faces a thermistor 1a of a first temperature sensor 1. The value R0 of a variable resistance 13 is set to coincide with the resistance value R2 of the reference element 12a as given at 37 deg.C during the manufacture of the body 10. R2 (T0) and R1 (T0) of the element 1a at the room temperature T0 are memorized 17 and an error display 18 is made when a relation 10 deg.C<=T0<=40 deg.C does not hold. The member 20 is drawn back into the body 10 and the element 1a is put on a measuring part to measure R1 (T). The signal selected with a switch circuit 14 is converted 15 into digital from analog, a CPU16 computes body heat T by a lump control and displays 18 the results after 3min enough to almost stabilize the thermistor along with a correction reference temperature T0. This eliminates the need for the selection of a disposable temperature sensor 1.
