PURPOSE:To facilitate the output correction, by providing a reference temperature sensor on a thermometer body to perform an output correction of a separable temperature sensor therewith. CONSTITUTION:The resistance value R0 of a variable resistance 19 is made to coincide with the resistance value R2 of a thermistor 13a in a reference temperature sensor 13 at 37 deg.C during the manufacture of the body 10. The R2 (T0) at the room temperature T0 and the resistance R1 (T0) of a thermistor 2 of a disposable temperature sensor 1 are memorized 23. With the closing of a switch 17, a CPU25 starts operation and a measuring person inserts the sensor 1 into a withdrawing hole 14 through a hole 11 to measure the R1 (T) putting the tip thereof on a temperature measuring part. The signal selected with a switch circuit 20 is converted 21 into digital from analog and the body heat T is computed by a lump control with the CPU22 to be displayed 16 after about three minute enough to almost stabilize the thermistor. With such an arrangement, the output of the reference temperature sensor can correct the output of the disposable sensor to eliminate the selection of the disposable sensor, thereby reducing the cost.
