The strap 100 comprises an adjustable strap hinge (3) which is composed of two parts, one of which, which essentially has the shape of a rectangular sheet, has on one side a bead-like part (3') which is proud in relation to the plane of the sheet and is intended to accommodate the strap pin (5), which is parallel to the side, and has on the opposite side an extension (12) which is proud in relation to the plane of the sheet. A cap screw (18) extends between the bead (3') and the extension (12), can be rotated through an opening (26) in the extension (12) and engages into a thread (25) on the first part (20), which is fastened to the wing or frame, of the adjustable strap hinge (3), so that the latter is adjustable in the fully mounted condition.
