PURPOSE:To obtain a nonaqueous electrolyte battery which maintains good low-temperature characteristics and has a good preservation characteristic by using a mixed solvent composed of dioxolan and trimethoxymethane as the solvent of the nonaqueous liquid electrolyte. CONSTITUTION:A positive stainless steel can 1 is separated from a negative stainless steel can 2 with an insulating polypropylene gasket 3 interposed. A positive electrode 4 is made by subjecting a positive mixture consisting of titanium disulfide used as the active material, acetylene black used as the conductive agent and fluorine resin powder used as the binder in a ratio of 80:10:10 to compression molding.
