PURPOSE:To permit different sizes of letters to be printed on the same line and also expanded letters to be lap-printed by feeding papers to the opposite directions corresponding to printed letter sizes on the printed line. CONSTITUTION:The number of printing dots of a printer is 24 dots which coincide with the vertical dot number of em-letters. If the pattern of letters in the P row of K line is expanded letter pattern composed of 48X48 dots, in case vertical 24 dots are one-sliced, CPU is set up intially to slice number 0 for printing by by operation of printing head for one-line. The slice number is then set to +1, and printing paper is sent forwardly only for vertical dots of em-letters so that between slices becomes 0. When printing of letter row of K line is ended, line feeding of line feeding amount T is realized by CPU. When T<0, reversely directed paper feeding for the absolute value of T is made for printer. Line feeding of a line interval of 0 can thus be realized and the first letter row and the second letter row can be connected without space. |
