PURPOSE:To clarify a border between an image area other than an original image and an original image area by arranging a means for preventing an original image from being projected and formed within a range of the focal depth of an image formation lens on a part of a photosensitive body where an electrostatic latent image other than the original image is formed. CONSTITUTION:Since a holder 44 of an LED array 15 is arranged on an upper part of the part of the photosensitive body 13 where an electrostatic latent image other than the original image is formed, the part is shielded by the holder and an original image CD on the part is not projected and formed on the photosensitive drum 13. Thereby, an original image AB and an image other than the original image which is formed by the LED array 15 are formed as electrostatic latent image. When the LED array 15 does not exist on a short focus lens array 14, all the images AB, CD are projected and formed on the drum 13, but the electrostatic latent image other than the original image is not formed. Under said constitution, an image other than the original image can be clearly formed independently of the original image.
