<p>The process consists of (a) introducing the ground material into a number of vessels equipped with stirrers and contg. water and caustic soda, for washing and degreasing; (b) passing the washed material to a centrifuge for draining; and (c) transferring to a series of tanks communicating in descending steps, so that the low density plastics pass from one tank to the next, to a trough full of water, over which impelling paddles operate.</p> |
