The number wheel comprises a cylindrical belt with numbers displayed on its outer surface. The numbers are stylised, rectangular digits, and in order to save space around the wheel, certain parts of the digits are used in common by two adjacent digits. Thus the lower part of the ''5'' also as the upper part of the ''3''. - The digits are then selected by viewing through an appropriate sized rectangular window. The numbers appear in the sequence 5-3-2-6-8-9-0-4-7-1. ADVANTAGE - Reduced size for digits of given height.(1Ab/1)
