In a method for producing film containers each containing a liquid and a removal tube, e.g. a drinking straw, provision is made according to the invention for the removal tube to be pushed from the outer end between the webs of film brought together and forming the film container with its inner end between the film edges converging at the lower cross-weld of the container and to be clamped between them, after which the liquid is poured in and, during this process, the force fit of the clamped removal tube with the converging film edges is maintained until the upper cross-weld of the films has been completed and is then lifted and the removal tube is flushed out in the liquid.
