PURPOSE:To shorten a channel ranging from a water pump to a cooling jacket and reduce a pressure loss in the channel, by setting up the water pump at a cylinder body side part of a water-cooled engine, while driving this water pump by a crankshaft through a belt. CONSTITUTION:A water-cooled engine 2 is designed so as to cause a crankshaft 14 to be driven by reciprocating motion of a piston 13. And, the crankshaft 14 is provided with a generator 15 and a belt automatic transmission 16 at both ends, and the belt automatic transmission 16 is designed to transmit power to a rear wheel. At the above-mentioned, in the support plate 17 installed so as to cover a side part of the water-cooled engine 2, there is provided with a water pump 18 at a position corresponding to a side part of a cylinder body 10, while an oil pump 19 is installed in a position proximate to a carburetor. Then, a toothed belt 23 is stretched across an interval between each of pulleys 20 and 21 installed each input shaft of these pumps 18 and 19 and the pulley 22 installed in a shaft end of the crankshaft 14.
