PURPOSE:To provide the vulcanizing device high in working efficiency by a method wherein two sets of a pair of pulleys are arranged in parallel so as to move in the transversal direction of the device selectively between the position of an intermediate mold and a position at the side thereof while the intermediate mold is supported by a pair of supporting devices free to advance and retreat. CONSTITUTION:A plurality of unvulcanized rubber belts A, stretched between one of the pulley devices 17, are vulcanized by vulcanizing device 1. Unvulcanized belts B are stretched between the other pulley devices 18. The belts A are pinched by the intermediate molds 13, 14 and upper and lower molds 7, 8 for a predetermined period of time to vulcanize the predetermined lengths of opposing upper and lower parts of the belts A, thereafter, the upper and lower molds 7, 8 are opened to rotate the pulley devices 17 by a drivig device by a predetermined angle and the upper and lower molds 7, 8 are connected to the intermediate molds 13, 14 again to vulcanized the new parts of the belts A. The vulcanizing work of overall length of the belts A is finished by repeating such vulcanizing works. A pair of cylinder devices 26 is extended simultaneously and an intermediate stand 25 is moved transvesally while the nonvulcanized belts B, stretched between the pulley devices 18, are arranged in the position of the vulcanizing device 1 and the vulcanizing work may be effected in the same manner. |
