<p>The Hall element (22) is a surface element. The device is comprised of a current generator (21), of the Hall element (22) and of a regulation circuit (24, 25, 26, 27) to maintain constant the thickness of a barrier arranged within the Hall element (22) to provide for the long term stability, the temperature stability and the linearity of the Hall element (22). The barrier covers at least upwardly the active zone of the Hall element (22). The regulation circuit (24, 25, 26, 27) is comprised of an actual value processor (24), a desired value generator (25) and a desired value-actual value difference circuit (26, 27) which is comprised on its side of a difference amplifier (26) and an inverter amplifier (27) connected in series. The actual value processor (24) is an absolute value generator and comprises a control circuit (28), a switch (29), an inverter amplifier (30) and a voltage follower (31).</p> |
