PURPOSE:To coat excellently a resinous part and a metallic part at the same time by exposing the leading end of the projecting part of the metallic part, sticking the exposed metal surface fast to an electrically conductive film on the rear surface side of the resinous part, earthing the metallic part and carrying out electrostatic coating. CONSTITUTION:When a resinous part and a metallic part are electrostatically coated at the same time, an electrically conductive film 2 added with conductive carbon is firstly coated on both the front and rear surfaces and the side surface of a resinous part 1. Meanwhile, a metallic mount 5 having a projecting angular edge part 4 to be brought into contact with the rear surface of the resinous part 1 is integrally provided to the resinous part 1 and the combined iron part 3 and the iron part 3 is washed, subjected to chemical conversion treatment and then coated with electrodeposition. At this time, the leading end of the projecting angular edge part 4 of the mount 5 is not coated and exposed. The projecting angular edge part 4 is thrusted into the conductive film 2 and fixed, the iron part 3 is earthed and electrostatic coating is carried out. The resinous part and the metallic part are electrostatically coated at the same time and the operability is enhanced.
