PURPOSE:To prevent the titled device from malfunction due to the misjudgment of a terminal by moving an image pickup lens in accordance with the detected result of a redetecting means even after the first output of a lens stop signal, and when the lens stop signal is outputted again, stopping the movement of the lens. CONSTITUTION:A zoom lens LZ is coupled with a camera body BD of a camera system through clutches 106, 107 and an image sensor FLM detects subject light through the LZ. An AF controller 113 is driven by a signal outputted from the FLM to calculate the defocusing from a focusing position and its direction, correct the moving variable of the image pickup lens and drive a motor MO1. Even after outputting a lens stop signal by a reading circuit LEC, a camera controller 111, etc. the image pickup lens is moved in accordance with the detected result of the redetecting means, and when the lens stop signal is outputted again, the movement of the lens is stopped to prevent malfunction due to the misjudgment of the terminal. |
