PURPOSE:To make the setting of a protective cover easily performable, by forming this protective cover, having a hook part engaging a high tension tower of a distributor cap, with a material inherent in isolability and elasticity. CONSTITUTION:A distributor is distributed with high voltage through a distributor cap 4 and high tension cords 5 and 6, and in order to prevent the high voltage form leaking as water or brine sticks to an outer surface of the distributor cap 4, rubber boots 52 and 62 have so far installed there but with only these boots, it is hard or impossible to prevent the leak, so that a protective cover 7 inheret in isolability and elasticity is installed so as to cover each tip part of the distributor cap 4 and these high tension cords 5 and 6. In this protective cover 7, there is provided with a hook part 71 having a tip part 72 engaging high tension towers 44 of the distributor cap 4 not covered with these rubber boots 52 and 62, so that only this tip part is inserted between these high tension towers 44 whereby it is held by the distributor cap 4.
