摘要 PURPOSE:To stably incinerate sludge discharged from a drain, and the like, by increasing and decreasing the quantity of heat to be fed into a combustion zone in accordance with the temperature in the combustion zone, and by controlling the drying up speed according to the temperature of a drying zone, in a multistage incinerator of low air ratio combustion type, provided with the drying zone and the combustion zone. CONSTITUTION:A thermometer 13 and an oxygen concentration detector 14 are provided to an incinerator in order to detect the temperature and the oxygen concentration in a combustion zone B whereto refuse such as sludge discharged from a drain is fed from a feed port 2. Besides, a combustion zone temperature controller 12 is provided in order to take out outputs from the above-mentioned detectors by the intermediary of a selector 15, to control each control valve 19, 21, 25, and 23, in relation to the rate of oil, the rate of the primary air, the rate of air to cool an axis, and the rate of circulating exhaust gas, and to control the quantity of heat to be fed from a hot stove 18. Further, thermometers 27-29 to detect each temperature in a drying zone B and an air heating stove 32 are provided to the incinerator, and a drying zone controller 26 to control valves 33, 35, 39, and 37, as same as each above-mentioned control valve, in accordance with outputs from the detectors, by the intermediary of a controller 31, and to control the drying speed in the drying zone B.
