PURPOSE:To perform welding operations safely in a short time by a method in which hydraulic iron pipes are held through supporters on a fixing base set around a vertical shaft and welded in order. CONSTITUTION:The first iron pipe 2A is supported through a lower supporter 17 on a fixing base 12 set around a vertical shaft 5, and the second iron pipe 2B is welded to the upside of the pipe 2A. The pipe 2B is supported through an upper supporter 18 on an elevating base 14 supported through a jack device 15 above the fixing base 12, and the holding of the pipe 2A is released. The base 14 is lowered by the jack device 15, the connected pipes 2A and 2B are supported by the supporter 17, and the holding of the pipe 2B is released. The third iron pipe 2C is welded to the upside of the pipe 2B, the base 14 is raised by the jack device 15, the pipe 2C is supported by the supporter 18, and the holding of the pipe 2B is released. A11 the pipes 2A, 2B, and 2C are lowered.
