<p>PURPOSE:To increase the arithmetic accuracy in the eccentric waveform of a roll and out-of-roundness by finding more than two sets of the rolling load at a kiss roll time and the data on the rotary angle of four pieces of rolls with adding the target value of the phase control system. CONSTITUTION:The turning angle of each roll is detected by driving rolls 1, 2, 3, 4, by counting the pulse of N pulse/rotation of the pulse generaters 6, 7, 8, 9 according to the rotation of the rolls 1, 2, 3, 4 by pulse counters 18, 19, 20, 21 and by setting with the one pulse/pulse of rotation. This value is inputted to a computer 25, the difference in the target value is operated and the target value of the phase among rolls is determined optionally. The roll's eccentric waveform and out-of-roundness are then found through the procedures of finding the waveform per turning of the backup roll by turning the roll with kiss rolling. The eccentric waveform, etc. of the roll is thus operated with good accuracy.</p> |
