PURPOSE:To abolish the use of a stationary blade board and increase the quantity of air with a multiblade fan remaining small by constituting the fan as that a fan in which a turbo-fan having the external diameter shorter than the internal diameter of a sirocco fan is integrally formed at the air intake side thereof is housed in a casing. CONSTITUTION:A fan wherein a turbo-fan 107 having its radius shorter than the internal radius of a sirocco fan 108 is integrally formed at the side of the air intake port 105 of the sirocco fan 108 is housed inside a casing 101 and 103. Air which is sucked from the intake port 105 of a fan casing 103 is pressurized by the turbo-fan 109 of the fan 107, runs through an opening part 117, sucked by the sirocco fan 108, pressurized again by the sirocco fan 108, and discharged from the outlet part 121 of the fan casing 101. In such constitution, the use of a stationary blade acting as a resistance member against the air flow between the first step casing 103 and the second step casing 101 is abolished so that the quantity of air can be increased without increase in capacity of the casings in comparison with the conventional multiblade fan.
