The invention relates to agriculture. It relates in particular to a framework element for making agricultural tunnels of the type consisting of a series of vertical hoops 2 anchored in the ground which are intended to be covered with a flexible sheet made of a transparent or translucent plastic material, characterised in that the hoops 2 are interconnected by a series of longitudinal rods 3 so as to obtain a self-supporting framework element. Preferably, the element according to the invention consists of a lattice of metal wires assembled flat and then shaped on a suitable model. The invention also relates to a device for implementing such an element. This device comprises a carriage, the chassis of which comprises wheels for it to move on the ground, at least one upper platform intended to receive the framework elements to be positioned, two pairs of lower guides which each delimit a slot for guiding the lower lateral edges of the framework elements and the lower ends of which extend in close proximity to the ground. <IMAGE>
