The appts. includes a memory for storing numerical values corresponding to the product prices, the product sizes and the amount of a coupon. Circuitry is provided for deducting the stored coupon value from each of the stored prices, providing adjusted proces. Price/size ratios may be calculated corresponding to each of the adjusted prices and stored sizes and circuitry is provided for determining the smallest of the price/size ratios. A numerical display shows the outcome of the determination. |
