PURPOSE:To prevent a transfer sheet from being wound and image quality from being lowered, by a method wherein a transfer sheet and a flexible sheet are laminated on a base provided with a toner image, than pressure is applied on the laminate under heating, and after cooling, the flexible sheet and the transfer sheet are released from the base in this order. CONSTITUTION:The support base 1 provided with a toner image 2 by a copying machine or the like and the transfer sheet 3 are laminated on each other, the laminate is placed between a mount paper 11 and the flexible sheet 10 so that the laminate abuts against the tip 17 of the sheet 10, and the sheet 10 is laminated on the sheet 3. The entire body is passed between a heating roller 14 and a pressure roller 16 to apply heat and pressure thereto. The toner image 2 is softened or melted to show adhesiveness, and a foiling layer 5 of the transfer sheet 3 is welded to the toner image 2. After the toner image 2 is cooled, the sheet 10 and the sheet 3 are released from the base 1 in this order, whereby the foiling layer 5 is transferred only to the part of the toner image 2. |
