PURPOSE:To provide a vulcanized rubber having excellent tap water resistance, by blending a plurality of specified compds. with natural and/or synthetic rubber and vulcanizing the resulting unvulcanized rubber compsn. CONSTITUTION:0.1-10pts.wt. at least one compound (A) selected from among alkali or alkaline earth metal salts, lead salts and zinc salts of stearic acid, lauric acid, octylic acid, naphthenic acid 2-18C unsaturated hydrocarbon acids and dibasic lead phthalate (a), white lead, basic lead sulfite, dibasic lead phosphite and lead orthosilicate (h) and epoxy resins (C), 0.1-10pts.wt. at least one member (B) selected from among compds. of formulas I-IV (wherein n is 1-30; R is alkyl, aryl) and 0.1-7pts.wt. at least one member (D) selected from among compds. (C) of formula V (wherein R1-R3 are each H, a 1-18C alkyl) are blended with 100pts.wt. natural and/or synthetic rubber to obtain an unvulcanized rubber compsn. Optionally, reinforcing agent for rubber, filler, vulcanizing agent and aid and vulcanization accelerator are added thereto, and the compsn. is vulcanized.
