PURPOSE:The titled copolymer resin which is transparent and excellent in impact resistance, hinge effect, etc., composed of a plurality of specified polymer segments based on a vinyl aromatic hydrocarbon and a polymer segment based on a conjugated diene. CONSTITUTION:The purpose linear block copolymer resin composed of a plurality of polymer segments (A) based on a vinyl aromatic hydrocarbon (e.g., styrene) and having at least one vinyl aromatic hydrocarbon polymer block having a weight-average MW/number-average MW ratio of 1.25-3 and a polymer and having a vinyl aromatic hydrocarbon/conjugated diene weight ratio of 60:40-95:5. This resin is produced by copolymerizing necessary monomers together in a hydrocarbon solvent by using an organolithium compound as an initiator.
