PURPOSE:To provide Al alloy foil suited to the formation of laminate material for cap seal by incorporating a limited amount of Fe to Al so as to facilitate thinning, improve strength and minimize the occurrence of spring back. CONSTITUTION:An Al alloy slab consisting of >1.2-2.0wt% Fe and the balance A$ with inevitable impurities is hot-rolled and cold-rolled, while process- annealed, to form into foil-like state. This Al alloy foil has a tensile strength of >=10.5kgf/mm<2> and a 0.2% yield strength of >=5.5kgf/mm<2>, so that the occurrence of spring back is minimized when used as synthetic resin film laminate for cap seal and, moreover, cost reduction in Al alloy foil manufacture can be attained. |
