PURPOSE:To obtain a remedy for athlete's foot having high preservability, by using extracted liquid of TORORO-AOI (Hibiscus manihot) as a principal component, adding salicylic acid, glycerol and lactic acid to the liquid, and mixing the resultant pasty composition with a fatty acid potassium carbonate salt, bentonite, salicylic acid and lanolin. CONSTITUTION:A pasty composition is produced by mixing an extracted liquid of TORORO-AOI with preferably 3-5% salicylic acid, 7-9% glycerol and 3-5% lactic acid. The composition is resistant to putrefaction and viscosity lowering for a long period and is most effective as a base. The objective pasty remedy for athlete's foot can be produced by adding a fatty acid potassium carbonate salt, mixture of bentonite and salicylic acid and lanolin to the pasty composition. It exhibits mild action to the skin without causing irritation to the skin, impregnates deep into the diseased part and completely cures the athlete's foot.
