PURPOSE:To obtain an electrically conductive resin compsn. which has good dispersibility and readily gives moldings having excellent electrical conductivity, by impregnating a bundle of electrically conductive long fibers with an impregnating agent. CONSTITUTION:A bundle of electrically conductive long fibers is impregnated with an impregnating agent composed of 5-100 wt% at least one compd. (A) selected from higher aliph. monocarboxylic acids and their metal salts, monoamides, condensates thereof with alkylenediamines and their esters (a), esters (h) of 2-12C aliph. polycarboxylic acids, esters (c) of arom. polycarboxylic acids and vegetable oils, Japan wzx and their hydrogenated products (e) and 95-0 wt% thermoplastic resin (B). If desired, the impregnated product is then coated with a thermoplastic resin (C). The ratio of the compd. (A) to the thermoplastic resin (B) is generally 100/0 to 5/95 by weight. The preferred ratio is 95/5 to 50/50 from the viewpoints of the shape retention of the bundle of the fibers during handling and the easiness of the untwisting of the fiber.
