PURPOSE:To make the structure simple and small in size by measuring a length electrically, and processing a measuring data. CONSTITUTION:A resistance between the second measuring terminal terminal 5b fixed to one end of a measuring line 6, and the first measuring terminal 5a contacting to the measuring line 6 is measured by a resistance measuring circuit 2. In this case, first of all, a measuring data from the circuit of a non- measuring state of the measuring line 6 is stored by a storing circuit 3, and compared with a measuring data from the circuit 2 of a measuring state of the measuring line 6. Subsequently, by a measuring value processing circuit 4, a length of the part where the measuring line 6 of the measuring state is drawn out is calculated, and displayed as a measuring data on a display device 7. Accordingly, the mechanical structure is the same as a usual measuring tape except a fact that a contact terminal is provided on the terminal 5a, the measuring line can also be thinned, the electric circuit is also simple, and the measuring tape can be made simple and small in size. |
