摘要 |
<p>PURPOSE:To enable continuous temperature measurement even in the utilization of induction heating, by inserting an optical fiber into a molten aluminum to detect the temperature of the molten aluminum from infrared rays passing through the optical fiber. CONSTITUTION:The tip 21 of an optical fiber 20 is inserted into a molten aluminum 10 and the fiber 20 is fed continuously thereinto at a speed enough to make up for the degrading of the tip 21 thereof in the molten metal. Infrared rays passing through the optical fiber 20 is introduced into an infrared rays temperature detecting means 40 to detect the temperature of the molten aluminum 10. Thus, the temperature of the molten metal 10 can detected accurately even the utilization of induction heating for the molten aluminum 10.</p> |
