Pharmacologically-acceptable, solid, particulate, crosslinked, indigestable, fat imbibing, fat retaining polymers which swell in liquid lard, contain less than 100 ppm of residual monomer and have a volume average particle size of 0.05 to 500 microns are useful in controlling obesity in animals on a high fat diet. |
