PURPOSE:To obtain advantages of both a divided type and an integrated type construction by forming the captioned calipers in such a manner that a cylinder side main body member and a claw-side member are divided while they are in a manufacturing but can no longer be divided after once they are assembled. CONSTITUTION:A calipers body 4 is divided into a cylinder-side main body member 7 and a claw-side member 8, and these members 7 and 8 are connected with a torque-shear type bolt 9 so that both become one body. This bolt 9 is sheared at its tip part with a predetermined torque, and both members 7 and 8 are constituted so that they cannot be separated easily after they are fastened. Then length of a piston 11 is shorter than the face-to-face distance between the cylinder main body member 7 and the claw-side member 8 so that the piston 11 can be pulled off even after both members 7 and 8 are fastened.
