PURPOSE:To make the separation of a master batch and the pellet of a blank hard to generate even if transfer is performed after both of them were once mixed by equalizing the apparent specific gravities of both of them, by forming the cross-section of the pellet into a profile cross-sectional shape such as a star shape or bringing said pellet to a deformed shape such as a wavy one in the longitudinal direction thereof. CONSTITUTION:The plastic bar straightly extruded from a die 4 so as to have a circular cross-section is transferred to the left while held between toothed wheels 6, 7 and cut into a predetermined length by a cutter. Because thus obtained pellet 2 has a large occupying space, even plastic originally having high specific gravity becomes low in apparent specific gravity and, when said pellet 2 is mixed with the almost cylindrical general pellet of a blank, a uniform mixing state can be kept even if transfer is performed. |
