PURPOSE:To make address control easy at time of rotation, reduction and magnifying process by providing means of converting actual memory to access address according to the rotation degree and magnification of virtual memory space against actual memory space of address generated. CONSTITUTION:On registers 2, 3, 6, set start address of the X direction on virtual memory space, start address in the Y direction on virtual memory space and, the rotation degree and magnification of the virtual memory space as against the actual memory space. The data of a register 2 is taken into a counter 4 by an X LOAD signal and the data of a register 3 into counter 5 by a Y LOAD signal. Then counter 4 is counted by an X CLOCK signal and after generating address in the X direction four times, the data of register 2 in taken into a counter 4 by an X LOAD signal and further counter 5 is counted up by a Y CLOCK signal. The addresses Xi, Yi on the virtual memory space generated from counters 4, 5 are converted to addresses X, Y, on the image memory 1 by a address converted circuit 7.
