PURPOSE:To easily obtain a desired wave front by using a new wave formed by the combination of respective diffracted lights, by allowing a plurality of waves high in coherency to be respectively incident to one hologram from angles different to each other. CONSTITUTION:The hologram 10 of the hologram forming system of a hologram measuring apparatus for measuring an arbitrary shape is divided into three holograms 10A, 10B, 10C respectively having specific interference fringes stored therein. Plane waves 11A, 11B are incident to the hologram 10 divided into three parts to form a wave front 12. This wave front 12 is formed of the combination of respective diffracted waves 13A, 13B, 13C by the incident plane waves 11A, 11B and the holograms 10A, 10B, 10C. The wave front 12, which could not formed because of the relation of interference fringe density, is easily formed.
