PURPOSE:To facilitate speed change operation by providing both forward and backward stages of a synchro-mesh system transmission. CONSTITUTION:The rotation connected and disconnected by a main traveling clutch 23 is transmitted to a gear 3 through a main traveling clutch shaft 1 and then to a gear 4 fitted loosely onto a shaft 12. The gear 4 meshes simultaneously with gears 5, 6. Gears 26, 29 fixed to a shaft 13 mesh with gears 27, 28 fixed to the shaft 12. A synchro-mesh system transmission 35 is provided on these two sets of gear trains to provide selectively one forward speed and 3 forward speed. Also, a gear 7 fixed to a shaft 14 meshes with a gear 9 fixed to the shaft 12 through a reversal gear 8 loosely fitted onto a shaft 13 and a gear 10 fixed to a shaft 14 meshes with a gear 11 fixed to the shaft 12. And a synchro-mesh system transmission 34 is provided on these two sets of gear trains so that the forward two speed and backward speed can be selected.
