PURPOSE:To prevent an inconvenient thermal deformation by a method wherein a flame transfer plate piece arranged along flame ports is enabled to slide and the end part of the flame transfer plate is overlapped with that of the adjoining flame transfer plate. CONSTITUTION:Flame transfer plates 2a, 2b and 2c are arranged on the upper surface of the burner combustion pipe 1 and the flame is transferred to the entire flame ports 10. Small screws 40 are attached by the longitudinal holes 20, 25 and 27 in order to release the longitudinal elongations of the flame trans fer plates 2a, 2b and 2c, the end parts of the flame transfer plates 2a, 2b and 2c are not abutted against each other but overlapped with each other at the parts 53a and 53b, respectively. Each of the flame transfer plates 2a, 2b and 2c is completely fixed at the points 23, 26 and 29. The flame transfer plates 2a and 2b at the end portions, however, are fixed by the flame port sides 26 and 29 in such a way as they may not cover the flame ports 11 and 11a ar ranged in a circumferential direction.
