PURPOSE:To make easy a calibration operation and to make possible the reduction of time and labor by providing an inside cylinder for measurement which is installed through a flue and has a notch to allow the passage of a waste gas and an outside cylinder for measurement which is disposed coaxially therewith and can shield the notch. CONSTITUTION:The inside cylinder 14 is fixed by welding the same to flue walls 17, 17' and an air venting pipe 18 is attached to the outside of the walls 17, 17' to discharge the air in a measuring pipe to the outside. An airtight plug 19 is attached to the pipe 18 when needed. The outside cylinder 13 is put onto the cylinder 14 so as to have the airtightness by a liquid gasket 20. A gear 21 for rotating the cylinder 13 is attached to the end thereof and is meshed with a gear 22. The cylinder 13 is rotated when a handle 23 is turned. The waste gas flowing in the flue 1 flows by passing through the inside of the cylinder 14 when the operator turns the handle 23 after putting the plug 19 to the pipe 18 and keep passing air 24, 24' for purging. The transmittance of the waste gas is then measured by a light projector 2 and a photodetector 1. The plug 19 is removed and the 100% calibration is made possible in the stage of calibrating the 100% value of the device. |
