The rice-hulling machine comprises a hulling section (2), an air- blowing separating section (7) beneath and a further separating section (6) disposed below the air-blowing separating section. Unhulled rice discharged from the latter section is led to an unhulled rice lifter (1) for returning unhulled rice to the hulling section. A hulled rice lifter (5) is arranged to receive the hulled rice discharged from the separating section. The hulled rice lifter is associated with discharge gutters leading back to the separating section and to a further processing station. A changeover valve is provided for switching the discharge gutters.
