Direct-acting safety valve

Because of the restricted space available, a direct-acting safety valve with a spring-loaded valve-closure piece for arrangement in the hand wheel spindle of a gas cylinder valve or in a lateral safety-valve branch requires a special design of the valve-closure piece 2 in order to present as small as possible a flow resistance to the emerging gas stream and hence to optimise the quantity blown off in the case of a response of the valve.
