PURPOSE:To execute smoothly printing, and also to curtail an unnecessary data file by providing a means for inserting directly a non-inserting mark to an inserting data document, and handling a data to which its mark has been put, as other data than a printing output object. CONSTITUTION:When 'printing' is selected from a keyboard 21, and an inserting data document is inputted, in a stage in which a menu picture is displayed on a CRT display device 19, a CPU 11 transfers a fundamental document for executing an inserting printing, and a document in which an inserting printing data is contained, from an FD 18 to memories 12, 13, respectively. Subsequently, an inserting printing mark 31 is fetched by one piece each from the head of the fundamental document by an inserting data extracting device 15, and a data of the same number as the inserting mark number which has been put to the fundamental document is extracted by the inserting data extracting device 15. Thereafter, its data is transferred to a non-inserting data processor 16. This device 16 inserts a data to which a non-inserting mark 32 is not put, into an inserting position of the fundamental document.
