PURPOSE:To improve the operating efficiency of a subsystem by blocking automatically the access of a device with the information of an error given from an error detecting means when the data is read out of a managing data register. CONSTITUTION:An error detecting circuit 12 monitors the states of the DPS arrays 5 and 6 in the read and write modes of the managing information. Then the circuit 12 informs an error if detected to a detector through an error informing line. Thus the detector 1 receives and recognizes the generation of an error through the error informing line in the read/write mode to both arrays 5 and 6. Then the detector 1 discriminates whether the error is produced in the write mode to the arrays 5 and 6 or not. Then the blocking state of a device 7(0) is set to a blocking register 13 within the adapters 3 and 4 if the error is produced when the managing information on the device 7(0) is read out. |
