The slides are stored in a bos (29). An arm (20) is moved by a motor (22) from a position (20') transferring the bottom slide (17) to its position in front of a projection light (24) and lens (25). When the next slide is required, a second motor (13) moves the carrier (14) to the top of the box. The arm is then moved by a third motor (21), pushing the slide (17') into the top of the box. - The carrier is moved back to its place in front of the lens, and thecycle starts again with the movement of the arm transferring the next slide into position for projection. The end of a series of slides may be marked with a special slide, with a visual indication and a contact for an electrical sensor.
