<p>The mudguard skirts or similar parts for use on vehicles are made by (a) preparing semi-vulcanised rubber powder in distinct colours and using this to fill the cavities in a female mould; (b) fitting a frame of size and shape corres-ponding to the required part, over the mould; (c) applying a sheet of raw rubber which at least fills the frame; and (d) covering with a top plate and vulcanising by usual means.</p> |
