PURPOSE:To provide the remedy for rheumatoid arthritis exhibiting significant suppressing effect to the collagen arthritis and adjuvant arthritis in animal experiment, by using an IRA fraction as an active immuno-suppressing component. CONSTITUTION:The objective remedy for rheumatoid arthritis can be produced by using an IRA fraction obtained e.g. from the blood and placenta blood of man and mammals, Cohn's fraction IV, etc., as an active component. The IRA fraction has significant suppressing effect to the collagen arthritis and adjuvant arthritis which are animal experiment models of human rheumatoid arthritis. Especially, an IRA fraction having a molecular weight of <=50,000 is preferable as a remedy for rheumatoid arthritis. It is administered especially preferably by intravenous injection in a dose of 0.1-20mg/kg daily. |
