PURPOSE:To reduce the contact area between a main strip fitted in a frame and a holder strip to improve the working ability of assembly of the weather strip, and to prevent defective assembly causing, for example, waving, by anchoring the holder strip to the main strip. CONSTITUTION:A weather strip 15 is composed of two strips divided from the shoulder section 13, that is, an inner main strip 15A and an outer holder strip 15B. In this arrangement, a glass pane seating stepped section 19 is formed in the upper stage of shoulder section 13 of the main strip 15A, and the end face of a window glass pane 4 is seated on the stepped section 19. Further, the lower stage of the shoulder section 13 is formed with a fit receiving section 16 including a narrow part 16a. Meanwhile, an anchor section 17 is formed in the holder strip 15B, corresponding to the above-mentioned receiving section 16, and therefore the holder strip 15B is fitted and held in the main strip 15A by fitting both section 16, 17.
